PGC Leaders Summit Riyadh 2022

Welcome to a new kind of summit from the team behind PG Connects.

Intended for senior directors, founders, decision-makers and entrepreneurs, you’ll enjoy talks and roundtables as well as exclusive networking activities. It all takes place in the unique setting of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, one of the fastest-growing regions in the games industry – the MENA market is forecast to grow 8.2% this year.

Unlike our regular PGC conferences, this will be a more ‘off the record’ experience without press or sales execs in attendance, enabling for deeper conversations, more open informal networking and less guarded knowledge sharing.

More than just a summit, it’s an all-round unique experience, with luxurious networking lunches, desert camp explorations and (for those with the all-access package) even a VIP night at the famous Soundstorm music concert too…

What to expect
This summit will take place in Riyadh at the end of November and the start of December. It is designed to bring together around 100-200 leading companies and individuals in the games industry from both the MENA region and overseas to share their knowledge, network and generally help to map out the next decade of this amazing industry.

You’ll engage with many of the big issues affecting the region and the wider global industry, from fund-raising, training and recruitment to UA, monetisation models and embracing (or not) new technologies and opportunities.

This will be delivered via a mix of talks from industry leaders as well as guided roundtable discussions allowing a deeper dive on key topics, plus we’ll also be unveiling the inaugural list of PocketGamer.biz Top 30 MENA Games Companies.

Already confirmed to take part in the programme of talks and panels are celebrated industry experts from across the region and beyond…

Kadri Harma, CEO, Nine66
Yannick Theler, CEO, Savvy Games Studios
David Fernandez, CEO, Sandsoft Games
Samer Abbas, CEO, Game Zanga
Kay Gruenwoldt, VP, Publishing Nine66
Musab Almalki, CEO, Spoilz
Kiliyamannil Abdul Kader, GM, PlayStation Saudi (MECL)
…but we really are just getting started, so expect to here more soon!

Of course, this is the games industry, so you’re also here to have fun, letting your hair down in the company of like-minded people from the games business. Both ticket types include evening dinner activity and food on the first night. We will attend a camp in the desert to experience desert buggies, camels, falcons, food and entertainment.

Then, for a special treat, a limited extended ticket also offers access to a VIP sky box at the Soundstorm music festival! Taking place on December 1, you’ll join a select group enjoying the thrills of this world-class music event, fully catered with food and beverages… please be aware though that these numbers are limited.

VIP Soundstorm ticket option
The PGC Leaders Summit beautifully coincides with the start of the incredible Soundstorm music event which takes place in the region. We have a limited number of VIP tickets which include access to a sky box at the festival, fully catered with food and beverages. If you would like to join those of us enjoying this spectacle on the second day of the Summit, please purchase the exclusive Summit + Soundstorm ticket at checkout.

Who can attend?
This event is intended for C-suite or director+ level individuals. Places are very limited, and we can’t guarantee that you’ll be admitted if you are not yet a company leader.

You will need to have a valid passport and arrange your own necessary travel visas. Visitors from many countries can enter Saudi Arabia on the new convenient eVisa programme. Where to stay?
The ticket price does not include travel or accommodation, but there are many magnificent places to stay in the region.
